Frequently Asked Questions

Are my images uploaded to a server?

During normal image processing, source image pixels stay in browser memory and are not uploaded to Jadys Fit. The site still makes separate network requests for page delivery, account authentication, usage checks, security, payments and support.

How do I compress an image to a specific file-size limit?

Choose a compressor, enter the maximum in decimal KB or MB, select an output format and process the image. Jadys Fit measures the actual output Blob and reports whether it is at or below the limit; it targets a maximum, not an exact size.

Why can an image still miss a 50 KB or 200 KB limit?

Image detail, pixel dimensions, output format and the browser encoder all affect file size. A strict limit may require visible lossy compression or fewer pixels; the 50 KB compressor keeps original dimensions by default, while the 50 KB resizer may proportionally reduce them.

How can I resize an image without stretching it?

Keep the aspect-ratio control enabled or use the visible crop before entering dimensions. Automatic downscaling preserves proportions; exact dimensions that conflict with the crop ratio require a new crop instead of distorting the image.

Should I use JPG, PNG or WebP?

Use JPG for photographs when a smaller lossy file is acceptable, PNG when transparency or lossless encoding matters, and WebP when you want modern compression with optional transparency. Actual size and encoding quality vary, so inspect the output.

Why does a transparent image get a background when converted to JPG?

JPG cannot store transparency. PNG-to-JPG and WebP-to-JPG fill transparent pixels with the solid color you choose—white by default—before encoding; the processed preview shows the flattened result.

Does PASS mean every website will accept my image?

No. PASS only means the output meets the rules currently configured in Jadys Fit, such as file size, dimensions and format. Another website may have different or additional requirements, so confirm its current rules.
