What this tool does

KB measures file size, while pixels measure width and height. Leave width and height blank to allow proportional downscaling, or enter exact dimensions that the tool will not silently change.

How to use it

  • Choose an image and leave dimensions blank for automatic proportional downscaling.
  • Or enter dimensions, keep the aspect ratio, process, and verify the output.

Check the output

  • Pass means the output Blob is no larger than 50,000 bytes or your current limit.
  • Review final pixels, actual size, format and pass status.

Common reasons it may fail

  • Exact dimensions can conflict with the file-size limit and will not be silently changed.
  • Detailed images may need fewer pixels or stronger lossy compression.

Real limitations

  • Changing pixels alone does not guarantee a 50 KB file.
  • Automatic resizing keeps proportions, does not enlarge by default, and cannot guarantee third-party acceptance.
